The highest-ranking poker hand is a royal flush, which includes the 10, Jack, Queen, and King of the same suit in one sequence. The next highest is a straight flush, which consists of 5 consecutive cards of the same suit (such as 3 aces and 2 9s). Finally, a full house includes three matching cards of one rank and two matching cards of another rank, such as 3 3s and 1 7s. Another common hand is a pair, which includes two cards of the same rank and two unmatched cards.
